NX 1.4.0 stops working after updating the X11 environment to X.org
The problem is related to the fact that either X.org or just the xorg-x11 package stores its fonts in a new location. Some Linux distributions are dropping support for the /usr/X11R6 directory tree in favour of the new X.org location.

NoMachine will modify the default font path to look in /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts and /usr/share/fonts in the next available release (1.4.1).

At the present moment, linking /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts to /usr/share/fonts is a possible solution but should not be required. Multiple font locations can be added to the nxagent X server; and by adding the other font paths to be used by nxagent to the AGENT_EXTRA_- OPTIONS_X in node.conf.

AGENT_EXTRA_OPTIONS_X="-fp ..."

users can plug the problem.
