What operating systems are supported by NoMachine 3.x server/node software?
It is NoMachine's policy to support the more recent versions of Linux distributions, namely those that ship libstdc++ library version 6 and XFT libraries.

With the releases of NX 3.x, NoMachine now offers native 32bit and 64bit packages for the following recent operating systems:

Linux i386/Linux x86_64

Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4/5
SuSe 10/10.1/10.2/11/Enterprise 10
Mandriva 10.1/2005/2006/2007/2008/2009
Fedora Core 3/4/5/6
Fedora 7/8/9/10/11/12/13
Debian GNU/Linux 4.0 Etch/5.0 Lenny
Ubuntu 5.10 Breezy Badger/6.06 Dapper Drake/6.10 Edgy Eft/7.04 Feisty Fawn/8.04 Hardy Heron/8.10 Intrepid Ibex/9.04 Jaunty Jackalope/9.10 Karmic Koala/ 10.4 Lucid Lynx

In selecting which operating systems to officially support, NoMachine follows its customers needs and and takes into account the most popular operating systems used in commercial and enterprise environments.

Branches of these operating systems are not officially supported, e.g., OpenSuse, CentOS, but we do our best to make sure that NX software works with as many Linux distributions as possible.
