Enterprise Client is now NoMachine Player

The free standalone client previously known as NoMachine Enterprise Client has been renamed to NoMachine Player. The functionality remains the same: it provides everything users need to connect to remote NoMachine computers without installing the server component on the local machine. NoMachine Player can be used to connect to any computer running either the Personal Edition or any NoMachine Enterprise product.

Universal subscriptions for multi-OS server editions

Server subscriptions are now platform-independent across Windows, macOS and Linux for all multi-platform server products. This also includes Personal Edition and Enterprise Desktop pack editions which also support ARM and Raspberry: the subscriptions are no longer tied to a specific OS, so that you can freely deploy, migrate or reassign these subscriptions between supported operating systems without needing a new license. Simply install the package for your OS and activate it with your existing subscription. This gives you more flexibility when deploying or reassigning desktops across your organization.

Goodbye PuTTY, hello NoMachine terminal access

Seamless single sign-on with OAuth and OpenID

NoMachine Enterprise products extend support for Single Sign-On (SSO) methods to OAuth and OpenID Connect protocols. With SSO, users can log in using a single set of credentials, eliminating the need for client-side configuration or copying keys between client and server. Besides Kerberos tokens, NoMachine authentication can now also be handled through tokens issued by the following Identity Providers: Microsoft Entra ID, Okta, Keycloak, and Google Identity, ensuring trusted security, streamlined setup, and an effortless user experience.

Wayland support in NoMachine Terminal Server

NoMachine 10 provides full virtual desktop support for GNOME running on the Wayland display server, ensuring complete compatibility with the latest evolution of this widely used Linux desktop environment. Users of distributions shipping GNOME 49+, including the latest Ubuntu and Fedora releases, can now connect to virtual desktops running on NoMachine Terminal Server products.

Enhanced Linux hardware encoding with VA-API

Linux users now benefit from VA-API hardware encoding support. This vendor-neutral acceleration API works with AMD, Intel, and NVIDIA GPUs, replacing AMD's discontinued AMF encoder for Linux systems while providing an additional hardware encoding option. Combined with the existing VA-API decoder, NoMachine delivers complete hardware-accelerated streaming on Linux for smoother remote desktop performance.

NoMachine Network: Now even more seamless

NoMachine Network transformed remote connectivity in version 9 by completely removing the need for port forwarding or third-party VPNs. Version 10 builds on that success with countless improvements in the way Network works to minimize possible connection failures and to ensure you get a remote access experience that feels simple and flawless.

Enterprise enhancements

Version 10 delivers critical improvements for enterprise deployments with enhanced authentication and identity support. Active Directory integration is more robust, while Kerberos username handling and token expiration management are strengthened. Multi-node environments benefit from improved automatic connection recovery and more configurable node selection at login, delivering uninterrupted service across all Cloud Server and Enterprise Terminal Server cluster deployments.
