Downloading and Installing

Minimum System Requirements

SPARC.GZ version

Log on as superuser (“root”)
Download the SPARC.GZ
Change your working directory to the location where you saved the package and install it by running from a console:
# gunzip nxserver-version.sparc.gz
# pkgadd -d nxserver-version.sparc
where nxserver-version.i386.sparc.gz is the name of the file you downloaded, such as nxserver-1.5.0-55.sparc.gz

Hardware

Network connection (either a LAN, or Internet link: dial-up (minimum 33.6 Kbps modem), broadband, cable, DSL, etc.)

Software

Before installing the NX Server package please make sure you have installed the prerequisite NX Client package appropriate for your platform.
