The file transfer functionality can be activated via the NX toolbar,
the NX Player tool which allows the user to change settings of the session
and run any of the available services. Via that GUI, the user can select
the remote file to be transferred from within the session to the local desktop
and vice-versa.
A status panel shows the progress of all transfer operations and allows the user
to interrupt transfer if required, and also resume at a later stage. This is useful
in the case of unexpected session closure.
How file transfer works from local to remote
NX Player allows the user to browse local files via the native browsing window
and select the destination folder on the remote side.
How file transfer works from remote to local
In a similar way to how transferring a file from local to remote takes place, NX
Player runs a native browsing window within the session to allow the user to choose
the file, and then opens a local window to allow the user to select the destination
folder.
