Introduction
1. NoMachine AVC Pack Installation Guide

Welcome to the NoMachine AVC Pack Installation Guide version 6. This document is intended to provide you with step-by-step instructions on how to install, update or remove the NoMachine AVC Pack on your system.

What is NoMachine AVC Pack for?
The AVC Pack is an add-on software for the NoMachine (free) and NoMachine Enterprise Client packages to leverage the H.264 video coding format. It provides both the H.264 software encoding and decoding libraries. Whether you will need a pack on the client or on the server or on both sides will depend on the graphic cards and on what operating system is installed.

If you have acquired any of the Enterprise or Terminal Server products, be sure to download and install the server package from your Customer Area: it already includes libraries necessary for supporting the H.264 codec. In this case, just install the AVC Pack on your end-users' machines if needed.

For more details about when the AVC pack is needed, please consult: https://www.nomachine.com/AR10K00706
