2.1. How to Use the NoMachine AVC Pack

The NoMachine AVC Pack contains the necessary codec for supporting the H.264 video encoding in NoMachine sessions. This package is suitable for NoMachine Enterprise Client and for NoMachine (free). If you have acquired any of the Enterprise or Terminal Server products, be sure to download and install the server package from your Customer Area: it already includes the libx264 encoder library necessary for supporting H2.64 codec. In this case, just install the AVC Pack on your end-users' machines.

IMPORTANT NOTE:

Due to MPEGLA policies, a fee must be paid for each installation of the H.264 encoder or decoder. The royalty fee is already included in the purchase of the AVC package or of any of the Enterprise and Terminal Server Products. For that reason you are entitled to a unique download of each package containing the H.264 codec. If, for whatever reason, the download was interrupted and you need to download again, please contact us.
