Creating NoMachine Quick for remote access without installation

NoMachine Quick is a new product to allow connections from remote to the physical desktop of your computer or let you connect to another NoMachine computer without the need for installing resident software (services, drivers and so on) on your machine device.

Administrative privileges are not necessary, just download a small executable, run it and transmit in a secure way the one-time code generated by the Quick server to the user you want to be connected to your computer.

Perfect for receiving remote support or making an interactive meeting, NoMachine Quick provides the same performance as a NoMachine traditional server with the same security level thanks to the native NX protocol.

NoMachine Quick is also fully portable, it doesn't store files or data on the machine where it runs, it can be used from a USB pendrive or any external HW support, everywhere and any time.

NoMachine Quick can also work as a client to allow connections to another computer with NoMachine installed. Give assistance to your friends and family at any moment or reach your files and directories at home from remote. This is the perfect companion for connecting to your NoMachine free at any place.

In a NoMachine session run by the Quick to a traditional server, multimedia (audio/video), file transfer, session recording and sharing of local disk and printer are all available. Password, key-based and Kerberos ticket-based authentication methods are supported. Only authentication with a key stored on a smartcard is not supported.

If connected to a NoMachine Quick server (by a traditional NoMachine client or another NoMachine Quick) the following services cannot be available inside the NoMachine session since the related drivers are not installed on the system.

- Sharing (or connecting) a disk from the remote computer to locale
- Sharing a printer from the remote computer to locale
- Printing from locale to a printer on the server
- USB forwarding
- Connecting network ports
- Connecting smart card readers

Additionally, connections to a Quick server can be authorized only with the one-time code generated by the Quick server. Password, key-based and Kerberos ticket-based authentication methods are not supported.
