NoMachine version 6.8.2 for macOS now available

Luxembourg, November 14th, 2019

NoMachine makes available today a minor software update for Mac to solve issues affecting installations running on macOS 10.15 Catalina.

NoMachine 6.8.2 fixes the following issues:

TR10Q09433 - Cannot interact with NoMachine desktop on macOS 10.15
TR10Q09429 - NoMachine cannot browse files on macOS 10.15 Catalina
TR10Q09458 - Keyboard input grabbing stops working after switching active Space on macOS
TR10Q09428 - Audio is not available in a NoMachine session connected to macOS Catalina
TR10Q09431 - After updating to Catalina 'bash' is shown instead of 'NoMachine' in the Security & Privacy panel

Download NoMachine Packages

You can download the latest packages suitable for your Operating System from the NoMachine Web site at the following URL:

Customers with valid subscriptions should log in to their customer area and download the "Production version".


Automatic updates

The automatic check for updates is scheduled to check our repositories every two days.

To update the free NoMachine package:

  • - Open the NoMachine User Interface from your Programs Menu.
  • - Click on 'Settings', then on the 'Server preferences' and finally on 'Updates'.
  • - Then click on the 'Check now' button.

To update the NoMachine Enterprise Client immediately:

  • - Click on 'Settings' and 'Updates'.
  • - Then click on the 'Check now' button.

Manual package update

Please follow the instructions to update your installation manually:

On Mac OS X:

  • - Download and save the DMG file.
  • - Double-click on the Disk Image to open it and double-click on the NoMachine program icon.
  • - As for the installation, the Installer will take you through through all steps necessary for updating NoMachine.
