Cannot start virtual desktops on Debian Wheezy with NoMachine server 4.3.23

New virtual desktops fail to start on Debian Wheezy with NoMachine server 4.3.23 with error:

Unable to launch "gnome-session --session=gnome"

This is due to a wrong command set in the DefaultDesktopCommand node configuration key.

As a workaround to run virtual desktops, uncomment and set in the /usr/NX/etc/node.cfg file:

DefaultDesktopCommand "/etc/X11/Xsession gnome-session"

or:

DefaultDesktopCommand "/etc/X11/Xsession default"

In both cases, NoMachine will create a GNOME 3 virtual desktop, if the llvmpipe software rasterizer is available or a GNOME 2 virtual desktop if llvmpipe cannot be used or found.  This can happen when llvmpipe is black-listed in the in the hardware compatibility list
(/usr/share/gnome-session/hardware-compatibility) .

Please read also this article related to hardware requirements for supporting GNOME 3 virtual desktops:

To always run GNOME 2 virtual desktops, set the following:

DefaultDesktopCommand "/etc/X11/Xsession gnome-session-fallback"
