Cannot start a new session because the previous session on the same display is in state 'Terminating' forever

This problem occurred in a specific environment configured to terminate the oldest virtual desktops when the maximum number of virtual desktops is reached.

According to the analysis of logs, when the server terminates the oldest virtual desktop, the correspondent local port is set free and ready to be used by a new session. If the oldest session enters for some reasons in an endless 'Terminating' state, the new session waits infinitively for the old session to terminate.

A solution to avoid similar cases would be to set-up a timeout in order to forcibly terminate the new session.
