Packages for Linux ARMv6 are better suited for Raspberry Pi 2 specifically running Raspbian and not other ARMv6 devices. Consult the installation and configuration notes about Linux for ARM packages for more details.

Downloading and Installing

  • RPM version
    1. Click on Download and save the RPM file.
    2. Install the package by using the graphical package manager provided by your Linux distribution or from command line by running:

      $ sudo rpm -i nomachine_7.9.2_1_armv6hl.rpm
If you don't have the sudo utility installed, log on as superuser ("root") and run the command without sudo.

Recommended System Requirements

The software is designed to work on computers with minimal HW requirements. Although the software may work with inferior CPUs or reduced RAM, for best performance NoMachine recommends you match the listed requirements.
  • ARMv6 SoC, Linux for ARMv6 "hard float" (armhf/armv6hl) distribution
  • 512 MB RAM
  • 95 MB free disk space
  • Network connection (either a LAN, or Internet link: broadband, cable, DSL, etc.)
