On using the Android client connected to an Ubuntu host running KDE the client sends garbled text to the terminal window when trying to type. The expanded keyboard added by the client as well as a bluetooth connected keyboard sends the same characters making it unusable. A vnc client on the same device comnected to the same host works without issue.

Can you confirm what version you are using on your Android client? Additionally, what NoMachine server version you are connecting to along with the version of Ubuntu.

Yes, the Android client is the lastest downloaded from here. The server is for Linux ARMv7 running version 4.4.12_2. Ubuntu 14.10 for armv7 is being used.
