Create Launcher… doesn’t do anything

Running NoMachine 5 server on a RHEL 6.6 server. When I try to create a launcher using the right-click “create launcher…” context menu item, nothing happens (see screenshot). Any ideas on why I am unable to create a launcher. I did tail the /usr/NX/var/log/nxerror.log file while I tried selecting the menu item, but there was no output so no error occurred.

This looks like a problem in Gnome. Try to check error log in file $HOME/.xsession-errors. Search also for any file named “clients” in subdirs of /usr/NX/var/log/node.

Yeah, I didn’t have gnome fully installed. I was missing the RHEL menubar at the top of the display as well. Getting it fully installed seems to have solved the problem.
