I’m using no-ip for dynamic DNS and when I use the noip.org address, it fails to connect.  When I try to connect via the actual IP, it works fine.  I’ve read that NoMachine should work with DDNS services.  Any tips on what I might be doing wrong?

    Thanks.

We checked the problem in our labs and for it’s working fine. After you create a host name on noip.com you just need to enter the name of that hostname instead of IP number when creating connection in NoMachine. Please make sure that you declare a proper IP number when you create a hostname on noip.com – it should be an external IP (obtained for example from whatismyip.com website), not the IP taken from ifconfig/ipconfig output. Could you check this? If the IP is correct, please send us an information about OS you are using. If you have ssh installed you can also check the connection via ssh using noip hostname and let us know whether or not it works.
