    Hello,

I have a Virtual Ubuntu 14.04 on which i have installed NoMachine.

Now from my Windows 7 laptop, using NoMachine i am trying to connect to the Ubuntu desktop session, and i am getting “Error is 107: connection refused”.

But I am able to putty into this machine and I am able to see that 22, 4000 are open on this VM.

What is wrong here ? and i can’t see the log file is being updated also.

Please help or point to the correct article.

    Many thanks

Are you using non-native firewall? Please try turn off for test or just add port 4000 as an exception by hand.

Are you able to connect in reverse, from your Ubuntu host to your Windows PC? Maybe port on server is changed? You can check it in “Server status” on your Linux box.

See section 2 and fig. 1 in https://www.nomachine.com/DT11M00107#2 for more details.
