In web sessions some keys are not recognized correctly when the Japanese keyboard layout is used.

Affected browsers are IE11 and Edge.

Examples:

- ( Shift with 7 ) provides ( " ) double quote instead of ( ' ) single quote.

- ( Shift with - ) provides ( + ) plus instead of  ( = ) equal.

- ( Shift with @ ) provides ( ~ ) tilde instead of ( ` ) back quote.

- ( ^ ) circumflex accent  provides nothing.

- ( @ ) commercial at sign provides nothing.

As a possible workaround, it can be advisable to adopt a different browser, e.g. Firefox or Chrome.

Note that another problem with Japanese keys has been detected on Firefox v. 70.0.1 and Chrome 78.0.3904.87 on Windows 10:

- the key \ of the right top (Shift + \ which provide "|" )

- the key \ of the right down (Shift + \ which provide "_" )
