Fedora 8 Bug Issues Update

Rome, Italy, December 3, 2007 - A number of reports and blog entries on the Net are discussing problems that users are having with running NX on Fedora 8.

The issues are:

  NX Node may be unable to verify if the /tmp/.X11-unix exists on Fedora 8

  SELinux may prevent NX sessions from starting on Fedora 8

  SELinux may prevent GNOME sessions from starting on Fedora 8

  Sound forwarding doesn't work when NX session is running on Fedora 8

Fixes are already available for some of the issues listed. The Trouble Reports above should be monitored to check when a fix has been or will be made available. Users of Fedora 8 can also consult NoMachine's software updates in the News section where a comprehensive list of all fixes is made available with each release along with  instructions on how to upgrade to the latest version.
