Implementing Wake On Lan feature

ID: FR09H02385 Priority: Low
Products: NoMachine Server Target: 7
Status: Implemented

NoMachine client should be able to send a Wake on LAN (WOL) magic packet on the ethernet interface to wake up those computers that are in 'low power mode', e.g. are in sleep, hybernation mode to save power, or powered off.

Pre-requisite is that the device supports Wake on LAN and that it has the MAC address of the network card set. In some cases it can be necessary to configure manually the device to listen for the WOL magic packet.

Further improvements of this first implementation are described here
