Added on: 2025-05-22 By: NoMachine Press Team

NoMachine, leader of secure remote connectivity solutions, today announced the immediate availability of NoMachine 9, unveiling the highly-anticipated NoMachine Network service, which facilitates remote access and collaboration over any network. NoMachine Network provides a simple, secure and easy way to access desktops over the Internet, even when the computer is behind NAT or a firewall. NoMachine Network is offered alongside the existing software products and Enterprise subscription plans, so users continue to install and connect using the NoMachine software they have always relied on for secure remote access. Users with a Network Subscription can connect to any NoMachine computer published on Network without needing the IP address of the target machine. Subscriptions are available to suit home-based professionals, remote office working, unattended desktop scenarios and IT support environments for both individuals and businesses.

“NoMachine Network offers subscriptions suitable for all scenarios which enhance the entire portfolio of NoMachine remote desktop connectivity products, from the free entry-level version to our Enterprise suite. Our team has been working tirelessly to push the boundaries of remote access technology, and we're confident that NoMachine 9 will be a game changer for the industry,” said Gaspare Tripi, General Manager of NoMachine.

New capabilities in NoMachine 9 include:

Anywhere access with NoMachine Network

NoMachine Network simplifies remote access to computers over the Internet even if they are behind a firewall or don't have a public IP address. Connecting to a computer that is on NoMachine Network requires a NoMachine account and a Network subscription. The subscription model is based on the number of concurrent connections from a given device to computers published on Network. Publishing a machine on NoMachine Network to let people connect is free for everybody and there is no limitation on how many machines you publish.

Two-factor authentication

NoMachine 2FA, freely available across the NoMachine product landscape, is an additional defense layer to protect access to your NoMachine account and any NoMachine computer. It can be used to verify all NoMachine connections (over-IP and Network) to the desktop and is easily configured from the NoMachine settings. To receive push notifications, users must be in possession of a NoMachine account and have installed the latest version of the free mobile app.

Integrated VPN out-of-the-box

NoMachine Enterprise products provide the ability to setup your own VPN without the need for relying on third party VPN software. All data traveling between the client and the Internet is encrypted and redirected through the remote NoMachine server. Any NoMachine player can connect to the VPN from their device to safeguard Internet browsing on public networks and to reach the remote corporate LAN.

New Cloud Server and Terminal Server Cluster

The Cluster editions of Enterprise Cloud Server and Enterprise Terminal Server implement improved load-balancing to guarantee a robust and highly-available single access point to their respective NoMachine desktop and server nodes. Additionally, a new intuitive interface facilitates set-up of the cluster peers upon installation, guiding administrators step-by-step through the pairing procedure.

Updated NoMachine mobile app

The NoMachine for iOS and Android application provides full support for NoMachine Network login and two-factor authentication, enabling access to Network whilst adding an extra layer of security through your device, all from the palm of your hand.
