NoMachine, leader of secure remote connectivity solutions, today announced the immediate availability of its NoMachine Network Evaluation program, which gives users an opportunity to try the recently released Network service when they create their account. From today, a 7-day Network Personal Evaluation is automatically assigned to new accounts. The same trial is also available to those users who already created their account since the release of NoMachine 9.
NoMachine Network was released in the recent major NoMachine 9 update, providing users a simple, secure and easy way to access desktops over the Internet, even when the computer is behind NAT or a firewall. It complements the existing NoMachine software products and Enterprise subscription plans, so users continue to install and connect using the NoMachine software they have always relied on for secure remote access. NoMachine Network doesn't replace the normal connections you make over IP, it's just a way to reach more machines. What NoMachine Network does is give you the freedom to connect even if you don’t know the IP address or the computer sits behind a NAT or a firewall. Instead of using the IP address when creating a connection, users indicate the Machine Id of the target computer, which has been added to NoMachine Network.
When signing up for a NoMachine account, users will now automatically receive a week's Personal Evaluation with one connection to enjoy the service for free and realise how powerful NoMachine Network is. It's enough to login to the Network service in the NoMachine Player with your account and insert the Machine Id of the target computer already added to NoMachine Network. Both client and server sides must have a NoMachine 9 installed in order to connect using the Network service.
The launch coincides with the release of NoMachine 9.1 which provides a number of important enhancements and improvements. More about this software update is available in the announcement here: https://kb.nomachine.com/SU07W00268.
