Customizing the appearance of the NoMachine User Interface

Start your journey to the next level of remote computing

NoMachine's powerful UI natively integrates with the OS on which it is installed. Additionally, it can be customized by changing the fonts, size of characters and the language to be used in all dialogs and messages. By default it installs with 'Sunshine' style enabled, but if you prefer a 'dark' theme, you'll need to select 'Moonlight'.

How to change the appearance of the User Interface

Open the NoMachine Player

  • Open the NoMachine User Interface to show the ‘Machines’ panel.
  • Click 'Settings'.

  • Select 'Player'.
  • Select 'Appearance'.

  • In 'Style' select the theme you prefer.

  • You can also choose the color of the wave, your favourite font, size of character and the language. Currently supported languages are English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Spanish, Polish and Russian with more to come in successive versions.
