Starting from NoMachine 4, although the default installation location for the NoMachine software remains the /usr/NX tree on Linux, it is also possible to define an alternative installation path. Next updates should use the custom path specified at installation time.

All the NoMachine libraries and binaries continue to be single-rooted, i.e. to reside in the <installation_directory>/NX tree.
